During the international Film Forum on Human Trafficking, communication agency Vandejong will present an international symbol to increase awareness of human trafficking: the Upset Heart. The inverted heart represents the heartless treatment that victims of human trafficking are subjected to every day.
Vandejong is organising the Film Forum on Human Trafficking
during the Vienna Forum to Fight Human Trafficking. From 13 -
15 February, over 1,000 experts, diplomats and celebrities will
converge in Vienna at the United Nations' request to discuss
the issue of human trafficking worldwide. The Upset Heart pin
will be distributed among film forum visitors on Valentine's
Day in cooperation with UN.GIFT (United Nations Global
Initiative to Fight Human Trafficking).
Displaying the Upset Heart sends a message that the wearer
refuses to ignore this mass violation of human rights and is
committed to joining the fight against human trafficking. This
symbol is intended to keep the public focused on the problem of
human trafficking long after the forum is over.
