New: Investing in Foam

Press release 17 February 2006

Communication agency Vandejong in cooperation with Foam_Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam developed a new type of fundraising: Foam_fund. A fund with playful twist; the shares are in fact a gift. But the gift does have a dividend: shareholders annually receive a photographic print by a young artist and more.

Vandejong crafted the name and concept for the young museum, which is doing well. Last year, Foam attracted over 100,000 visitors. Foam-fund allows Foam to reinforce its profile as an active and enterprising museum. Foam_fund enables private individuals and businesses to share in Foam’s success. A share costs € 2,500 and entitles the shareholder to membership for two years. In addition to the annual photo print, shareholders receive special discounts, invitations to openings and special Foam_fund events, including the annual shareholders meeting. This makes investing in Foam_fund a unique and involved way of donating.

So far, a large group of people have responded enthusiastically. They act as ‘ambassadors' to actively recruit shareholders for Foam_fund.
