Foam Magazine

Foam and Vandejong project (2002 - present)

Magazine-sized exhibitions

Foam wants to show photography in all of its incarnations, but neither the museum’s location nor its communications budget is big enough to do so. In order to compensate for this, Vandejong and Foam came up with an alternative exhibition space: Foam Magazine. The ideal international platform for photography, not to mention a highly effective means of communication.

The essence of this quarterly magazine is a new theme every issue, illustrated by six photographers. The diversity of the six portfolios is crucial, and results in surprising combinations. Together with the distinctive design and high quality printed paper makes every issue of Foam Magazine a collector’s item. Foam Magazine receives considerable attention worldwide, and has won numerous awards.

Foam Magazine is a joint production by Vandejong and Foam. The publication represents a unique collaboration in which their likeminded entrepreneurial spirits meet. For more information and a subscription see www.foammagazine.nl.
